Final Fridays

Final Fridays is an opportunity for superintendents to gather and participate in professional learning and discussions centered around Hot Topics in Education. The sessions are focused on the variety of solutions and ideas oriented toward solving the budget problems. The schedule is as follows:

Feb. 26th – The 4-Day School Week
March 26th – Redesign of the Delivery System
April 21st – On-line/Virtual learning
April 30th – Consolidation
May 26th – Budget cuts/Reductions

Bracing for More Budget Cuts

Governor Brownback provided the State of the State address last night for the State of Kansas. Although he touts that education will receive more money overall, the base state aid would actually drop another $232 under the current plan.
